[00:00:02] [SPEAKER_00] Hey Waffle Gang, I do hope you are well. My name is Mark and today we're checking out some more Reddit Stories. And if you do love a Reddit Story, why not consider hitting that like, subscribe, maybe that notification bell too. And let's crack on with today's first story. Much love guys. Now today's first story comes from OrdinaryFudge4087 from the true off my chest subreddit and says, I'm starting to regret telling the other woman's husband about her flirting with my husband.

[00:00:32] [SPEAKER_00] About a month ago, I found a text exchange between my husband and a colleague that sounded like a continuation of a talk they had at a work outing, where she confessed that she wanted him with all her senses, but that it will never go beyond that because she loved her husband and would never hurt or disrespect him. I confronted my husband and he said it was nothing, just a drunk conversation and nothing has ever happened between them and never will.

[00:00:57] [SPEAKER_00] I chose to send the screenshots to her husband and from her reaction, I think they're separated and heading for a divorce. She sent me a text late last night asking if I was happy with what I did, if I could sleep well at night and that now she is free to do what she wants now. Do you understand that? I'm free to do what I want now. I hope you're happy. My mother said that I should never have contacted her husband. I am naive to believe nobody ever fantasized about people other than their partners. And alcohol made her speak her fantasy out loud.

[00:01:27] [SPEAKER_00] My husband is very upset with me and said that she didn't deserve it. He's refusing to find a new job or cut contact with her. I don't think OP's regretting telling the husband just the fallout of it because let's be real, this wasn't just like a harmless fantasy. Saying you want someone with all your senses and then continuing that conversation privately isn't nothing. That's already crossed a line whether it was physical or not.

[00:01:51] [SPEAKER_00] And the fact now she's coming at you with now I can do what I want hinting that you know she can try and get with your husband or whatever I guess. And your husband's response to all this is a huge red flag. You don't fight to keep someone around who's causing problems in your marriage unless you want them there. But a commenter said to OP she'd basically said I'd fuck him if I were single and you made her single lol. The bigger thing is what your husband's response to her when she said it.

[00:02:19] [SPEAKER_00] You've left that out so I assume he just brushed it off or ignored her. OP says he wrote nothing back. She apologized later for writing what she did and he apologized for not stopping her when he noticed she was drunk and was blurting out inner thoughts and he apologized for what she's been through. Something they probably discussed at the outing. But I don't know what it was and he told me it wasn't my business. The commenter says it absolutely is your business and it affects your relationship. At a minimum it sounds like he's been having an emotional affair with this woman.

[00:02:48] [SPEAKER_00] If it were me it would be ultimatum time. He gets a new job and goes no contact with her and you guys go to therapy together where he's open and honest about the nature of their relationship and you find a path forward. Or you get an attorney and divorce. She already told you she is coming for your man. Believe her. OP says I showed him this post and he got very upset and said to delete it because it's other people's lives and I insisted on knowing what happened. And he finally confessed that her husband was in an accident 8 years ago and they haven't had a relationship.

[00:03:18] [SPEAKER_00] She got drunk and told him and another colleague. I wasn't supposed to write this. He will not leave his job or stop speaking to her and even want me to apologize to her. The commenter says literally nobody here can identify who they are. It's not going to change their lives in any way. But heck you apologize to her? Also are you friends with your husband's colleague and her husband? How did you get your husband's colleague's husband's phone number? How did she get your number?

[00:03:44] [SPEAKER_00] I don't have phone numbers for my man's co-workers let alone their significant others. OP says I found him on Facebook. She probably got my number from my husband. The commenter says the only thing stopping the other woman from being with your husband is his willpower to stay faithful to you. But with him being upset because you told not quitting the job and not getting contact with the other woman I feel his willpower isn't that strong. Good luck.

[00:04:08] [SPEAKER_00] OP responded saying apparently it was her willpower to stay faithful to her husband because I just confronted my husband and he tried to deflect so I went off on him. And he admitted that he has feelings for her and that he knows it is wrong and that he will regret it. But he has had feelings for three years. OP answers a question if she has children with her husband and OP says yes. Two children. The commenter says what was he doing with her? Did they sleep together? OP says he said for fuck's sake no of course not. OP says he said he did not.

[00:04:35] [SPEAKER_00] I asked him why he met up with her and he said because she wanted help because she was freaking out and he is the reason to her husband leaving her. She is freaking out because her husband needs much assistance and she doesn't believe anyone would take care of him now she left. He accused me for hurting many people. And it was when I asked if he had feelings for her and he said yes and for three years. But she would never sleep with him as long as they're still married. My husband doesn't believe it's cheating. Her husband however he wanted to end the relationship for a while and I guess my text was the last straw.

[00:05:05] [SPEAKER_00] OP on the colleague's husband says he's in a wheelchair and I don't mean it in a disrespectful way but I don't think he is interested in relationships that way. OP on her husband's ages and the colleague's age. I don't want to give specifics but my husband and I are late 20s early 30s and she is maybe mid to late 30s. The commoner says do you have access to your bank accounts, credit cards and investments? Call and freeze your cards and credits so he can't open new cards with your name on them. Freeze your bank account.

[00:05:33] [SPEAKER_00] Make copies of all your investments and retirement accounts. Get a shark of a divorce lawyer. OP says we don't have money or assets. The house is his before we got married. So it came a month later and OP said here's an update. I'm starting to regret telling the other woman's husband about her flirting with my husband. Hi. It's been a tough month and thank you for staying in touch. I'm sorry for not answering any messages. I'm just too busy.

[00:06:01] [SPEAKER_00] So she's quit her job and she and her husband are working on their marriage. They have both blocked me. Her husband has always felt guilty for her sticking around and he wanted divorce to set her free. She begged him to take her back and cut contact with everyone from her job. I have no interest in contacting her anyway so blocking me was redundant. Her husband and I are, I don't know. Apparently people at work are mad at him for her quitting her job and seems to blame me for them giving him the cold shoulder.

[00:06:29] [SPEAKER_00] He never said it outright that he blamed me. We're starting therapy soon. After that, I don't know. I'm very depressed still and I feel very lonely sometimes. Like nobody understands me. Commodore says she texted your husband that day. He came running and she texted you good luck spending the evening alone and somehow you're the problem. He admitted to having feelings for her for three years. In what universe are you at all the problem? Him and her are the problem. That's it.

[00:06:59] [SPEAKER_00] Opie says nothing physical happened between them and they truly believe that's the only thing that constitutes cheating. Commodore says, has your husband apologized? The other lady may have been inappropriate or something and it would hurt immensely to hear how a spouse longs for someone else. But she did the adult thing and stopped it. She made the decision to honor her commitment and she's apparently serious about it and him. She's actively choosing him. That's pretty significant.

[00:07:24] [SPEAKER_00] And not to dismiss flirting but feelings of attraction and longing for others outside a marriage are normal. Most of us just go through it silently and know or hope it will pass without acting on it. And without disclosing to our partners because we don't want to hurt them. She and her husband may wind up closer because of this. Your husband on the other hand is refusing to take responsibility and is being an arsehole. Get your affairs in order and legal team lined up with next steps to implement whenever you decide to pull the trigger.

[00:07:52] [SPEAKER_00] If he isn't remorseful, your marriage is already dead. You just don't know it yet. Hopey responded saying yes, he apologized and said that he understood what I did but that my beef was with him, not her or her husband. Commodore says, did she block your husband at least? Did they keep going out together till she decided to work on her marriage? Did he block her? Don't let him blame you. You did nothing wrong. It is the consequences of their doings. Hopey says yes, she blocked him.

[00:08:20] [SPEAKER_00] Commodore says, you caught them in something OP. Whether it was emotional, physical or both. You caught your husband having an affair and now you have successfully been gaslit into believing you're at fault. As someone who had the same thing happen to them. I know that it is convincing especially when they have their like-minded friends telling you the same thing. But believe me when I say that you are just surrounded by the wrong people and opinions. His co-workers, the mistress and a successfully manipulated husband. And you were in the right with your actions.

[00:08:48] [SPEAKER_00] Unless your husband can admit he was actually in the wrong here and sincerely apologize to you. And you have it in you to forgive him for the affair. I'm sorry to say your marriage is already over. Couldn't and wasn't me to be honest. No matter what happens, I hope you can find happiness. I truly believe it's not with this guy though. OP says, it never turned physical between them. Somehow both believe it is safe and not cheating as long as they don't have actual sex. I've looked at her last text to my husband before blocking him.

[00:09:18] [SPEAKER_00] Now things could have been different if they were in other circumstances. And that she dreamed about it sometimes. But that she loved her husband and couldn't hurt him more than she already did. Wished him a good life and told him she was blocking him. And she truly believes that there's a universe where they were both free and happy together. And that's comforting enough for her. His answer was that he wanted to believe that too. And wished her and her husband luck and happiness. And he apologized for me hurting her husband that way. She answered with a love heart.

[00:09:47] [SPEAKER_00] Honestly, I don't see how OP would be able to move past this. That line where they're talking about how they wish they could be together in another universe. And they're both saying it. He's apologizing to her for what his wife did. And not focusing on his own marriage. Not prioritizing his partner. But apologizing to the other woman like she's the one that got hurt. It says everything. And the whole bullshit about it. It's not cheating unless it's physical. It's such a cop out. You don't get to like emotionally invest in someone else. Talk about being together. Then act like it's all fine.

[00:10:16] [SPEAKER_00] Because you didn't cross one specific line. You had an emotional affair. And basically admitting you would be together in another universe. That would be it for me. I'd be like hell no. I'm not putting up with that shit. But what do you guys make of this situation? Let us know your thoughts down in the comments below. And let's move on to another story. Now our next story comes from Rocco Morocco 0722 from the Relationship Advice subreddit.

[00:10:42] [SPEAKER_00] And it says my male 29 girlfriend female 30 wants to go spend a week on vacation with a male friend.

[00:11:18] [SPEAKER_00] As it mentions in the title. She lives in a different city. She made that sound like she's having lunch with the guy. Now all of a sudden it's a week with this guy that I know nothing about. Now I have no problem with her having guy friends. She has a few. I trust her completely. I don't think anything has ever happened between her and any of her friends. But a week long trip one on one is ridiculous. That I can't tolerate. So I told her she can go out and I'm out.

[00:11:47] [SPEAKER_00] The fact that she would plan a trip like this and tell me after the fact is an extremely disrespectful towards our relationship. Especially when all we talk about is prioritizing each other over everything else. I don't know what else to do except end things here. I don't think this will be a one off. It had just become a pattern of pushing boundaries. After this conversation she was very quick to say she's canceling the trip. But I don't think I care about that after the fact. I don't think I can be in a relationship where I'm dealing with things like this.

[00:12:16] [SPEAKER_00] I expect my partner to have respect for our relationship. Not just say I'm not cheating on you though. Is this a pattern to expect if we don't end things here? A commuter says. Just have some dignity and end it. Outcast says. The good news is that you've only been together for 8 months. Drop her now so that you won't have to deal with this kind of stuff again years down the line. Embarrassed says. You made the right call to start with. She's 30. Not 15. And knew perfectly well she'd been taking the piss. Commuter says.

[00:12:46] [SPEAKER_00] Um. Immediately no. I'm not even reading all that. Just plain no. That is sus as fuck. She just wants to cheat if she isn't already. Also. If she had doubts about the relationship. She could have talked to you about them. Ask for reassurance. Or try to address whatever was on her mind. Opie says. I find it hard to believe about the uncertainty in our relationship. We're literally talking about getting married next year. I was introduced to all her family and her friends around here.

[00:13:13] [SPEAKER_00] Not sure if that's something she'd do with a guy she's uncertain about. Never communicated on any of this before. I guess I'll never know now. So Opie updated this one and said. After ending things she started spiraling a bit. A lot of crying and crazy things. We spoke about all this. And I tried to be what I thought would be kind and let her get it all out. Her family members reached out asking what had happened as she was just a mess. And then things escalated a little. Honestly don't even know what to say about that.

[00:13:42] [SPEAKER_00] I spoke to her after all that once and decided to cut all contact. Ending things felt especially right because at some point in our conversation she said she wouldn't have booked this trip if she didn't feel uncertain about our relationship. Just wow. Considering that we were planning to get married sometime early next year. So I guess it really wasn't as innocent of a trip as she'd let on. And it certainly wasn't a mistake. Now she's free from this uncertain relationship and certainly free to do whatever her heart desires.

[00:14:12] [SPEAKER_00] I really do hope she finds peace and happiness in her life. It sucks that things ended this way because we were freaking great up to this point. I'm just glad I trusted my gut. Always stick with your gut. A commoner says dude you dodged a divorce. How scary is that? You need to date someone at least a couple of years before you get engaged. Commoner says the moment she said she booked the trip because she felt uncertain about the relationship. That's all the closure you needed. OP responded saying yeah.

[00:14:41] [SPEAKER_00] I can't imagine my head on a swivel when it comes to my partner. I'm not even someone who likes to even swipe to the next picture without asking. I felt like with her it was already starting to send me down rabbit holes. I can't imagine what it would feel like being that type of marriage. A commoner said to OP the important part is that you stood your ground and treated yourself with respect you deserve. If most men were like this this shit wouldn't happen as often and this girl would think about you for years and years too. OP says I fell for her pretty hard.

[00:15:11] [SPEAKER_00] It's still pretty crazy the things I was willing to do for her. I remember this one thing we always joke about and had become a thing. She's a foodie and she loved this spread from a grocery store that was imported from Italy. They stopped carrying it shortly after she discovered it. Actually reached out to the distributor and found the only store in the country that still carried it and got it for her. Even spoke to the manager about keeping it in stock as much as possible. Or if I could have ordered it in larger quantities and take it off the inventory right after.

[00:15:39] [SPEAKER_00] Didn't that show how much it meant to me to see her happy? Isn't that the love she claimed to want in her life? To be loved is to be seen, to be heard. Just wild to me. I tried to give her everything she even remotely mentioned she wanted. Still, I guess it wasn't enough. I've never seen myself like this and I'm not going to pretend it didn't feel absolutely amazing. But absolutely wired into life. This shit woke me up in an instant though.

[00:16:05] [SPEAKER_00] The commenter says and quotes OP so I guess it really wasn't as innocent of a trip she'd let on. And it certainly wasn't a mistake. And then says and therefore this guy friend wasn't really a friend and this inappropriate behavior was a long term issue. Good call and all the best moving forward. OP says yeah that part about uncertainty definitely cleared up my uncertainty. No shot, just a friend. Commenter says she's probably just spewing a bunch of hurtful shit so don't take anything she says seriously.

[00:16:33] [SPEAKER_00] I'm sure her parents will explain to her how stupid an idea her vacation with her friend was. OP says yeah, parents were pissed. Her siblings were pissed. I spoke to her siblings. I've known them for some time. Helped organize the older ones wedding events. All good people around her. Always prioritizing her. Understand she cheers up the place. Brings joy wherever she goes. They really wanted us together so they aren't too happy with their choices right now either. Hopefully they'll see her with someone she's compatible with.

[00:17:02] [SPEAKER_00] And there was many people talking about you know how quick the marriage was coming around and all this kind of thing. But what do you guys make of this situation? Let us know your thoughts down in the comments below. And let's move on to another story. Now our next story comes from Cricket Caller from the Am I Overreacting subreddit. The title of the post is Am I Overreacting If I Divorced Over Him Asking To Open Our Relationship And Then Gaslighting Me.

[00:17:30] [SPEAKER_00] And it starts off with some text messages which were transcribed. It starts off with the husband saying it's a conversation we have to have in general anyway. OP said fine. Husband responds general things to go over. One, bringing others around baby when and how to communicate. Two, dating others. How do we make that work? OP says one, she's old enough to have people around for a bit longer but I personally still am going to need warnings before anybody's at the house.

[00:17:59] [SPEAKER_00] Today was too much. Two, we don't. Husband replies oh that's not what I meant. As for the first time I didn't know they were coming yesterday either. OP says you led me on while you like somebody else. Husband says no, that's really not it. OP says it is. Husband says okay, okay. Let me. I liked her. It's been a while. OP says and yet you're still asking about dating her. Husband says I should have worded that better. That's not what I meant.

[00:18:27] [SPEAKER_00] OP said come on and husband said let me explain myself. To which OP said okay. Husband comes in with. Friend one told me that crush asked me about it and I gave a that's old, kind of was just getting over X response. He asked relationship stuff. I mentioned you. He asked how you felt about it and assumed weren't dating for some reason. He's normally smarter than me and asked good questions so he gave me a few things to ask you. I picked the ones I actually wanted to know and failed to realize how he worded that.

[00:18:57] [SPEAKER_00] The correct thing would be. Two, how do you feel about me still being friends with somebody I wanted to date? OP said oh don't bullshit me. Her husband says fully on me. I really should have checked closer while typing. OP says how stupid you think I am. There is no way to accidentally type that. Husband says have you never read a list and just typed it without thinking? I don't think you're stupid. You should know that. I'm used to reciting messages. I saw a message. I reset it without rewording.

[00:19:27] [SPEAKER_00] OP says nope you didn't. I feel so insanely gaslit right now. Name that isn't possible? Those are two completely different concepts. Just admit you were testing the waters to see if it was a possibility. I'd be much less upset about that. You don't ask about dating others if it's not about dating others. Husband says it was a mix of both. I didn't know if you also wanted to look elsewhere and it was a good way to ask while also having an out since friend one also kind of asked.

[00:19:56] [SPEAKER_00] OP says why did you try and lie? Husband says panic. I realized how bad that sounded and lied out of habit to try and fix it so you wouldn't leave. OP says I could tell. Don't do that. Husband says I didn't mean to. I was just typing things before I even thought. I'm sorry. OP says I can't forgive you right now. Husband says I'll work on it. You deserve better than that. OP then comes in with their actual post. They said okay. So here's some context since I don't think the messages can fully stand alone.

[00:20:25] [SPEAKER_00] My 27 female husband, 28 male and I have only been married 6 months. We have a 1 month old baby girl. Today two of our college friends came over unannounced to meet the baby. I was very frustrated by this and assumed it invited them because he didn't seem at all surprised for them to show up. I had a very difficult pregnancy and have been having a horrible time recovering so I really just wanted to rest. One of the two college friends is a woman my husband used to have a crush on.

[00:20:53] [SPEAKER_00] This isn't something we've directly talked about. It was just basic knowledge in our shared circles in college. They still keep in contact but I wasn't aware it was high contact and even really still a friendship. After they left I was a bit grouchy and my husband could tell. He had to go to work later that night and was texting me while on a short break. That is that conversation. He asked me about dating others out of the blue.

[00:21:28] [SPEAKER_00] The commenter says to OP you aren't the arsehole. While this conversation should honestly be in a face to face situation so you can see and feel what's really being said or lied about. Truthfully he's made up his mind ages ago and wants something outside of your marriage. You can stay and accept the fact that he talks and is willing to see others while you're together. Or the second thing would be him doing it behind your back anyways. This conversation is the beginning of the Pandora's box. Once it's open you can never go back. Good luck.

[00:21:58] [SPEAKER_00] OP says I was really upset this wasn't important enough to be discussed face to face too. It felt like another manipulation tactic but I may be overthinking it. The commenter says I'm sure there was no other red flags up until having the baby. OP says obviously no relationship is perfect but the pregnancy was accidental and I really wanted to be together and present parents for our daughter. Really felt like we were making it work until now. A commenter says he sounds like not just an idiot but also a piece of shit.

[00:22:28] [SPEAKER_00] What's the history here? Are you monogamous or not? Is there some unresolved cheating in either of your paths? I don't care but you should ask yourself. Personally I'd bounce if my SO ever brought up trying to date on the side but I'm not poly at all. OP says we're monogamous. The only time you could ever consider us not is that we used to be just friends with benefits. No cheating in either past. OP replies to a longer comment saying I was super confused by the friend not knowing we're together.

[00:22:56] [SPEAKER_00] I'm not as good friends with him but I do know him and surely he'd know that two people who live together and have a baby are together. The historical says not overreacting. The sisterhood here is saying the same thing because it's facts. The man embodies deeply rooted toxic behavior. You are not put on this earth to suffer. I love how you rejected his BS at each point. He tried to gaslight you and failed. You are tough like a mother. Keep going. OP says thank you. I appreciate this a lot more than you know.

[00:23:26] [SPEAKER_00] I didn't know so many people would think he's in the wrong but proceed to be more angry at me for loving him. I really needed to hear that I did somewhat hold my ground and do alright. What a topic says holy shit. How you married to a guy that lies to you so much. No one should put up with that. OP says he's a compulsive liar due to an abusive environment as a child. I can read him pretty well and usually have to directly state what I know he's doing for him to admit it. It gets tiring. Especially when I'm not doing well.

[00:23:55] [SPEAKER_00] OP responds to another big comment and says I'm not just leaving things as is. I'm looking into a lot of things to see if he's completely betrayed my trust. Getting STD tested. Reaching out to a friend and crush. Checking recently deleted iPhone messages. Checking other things on phone etc. I want to see if things can progress from here. If it hasn't gotten better in a few months or I find out something new. I'm leaving for baby's sake. I know it's very easy to want me to end things based on a singular thread.

[00:24:23] [SPEAKER_00] But there are years and years of shared history. And so many good things I don't know if I'm ready to let go of. And all emotional factors aside. I'm doing horribly physically and emotionally. I can't take care of baby on my own. And I don't know who else I could possibly ask to help with her. I want to do what I can. So OP updates the following day and says this will be my only update unless something massive happens. I'm not looking to create one of those Reddit sagas that drag on five updates. Okay.

[00:24:50] [SPEAKER_00] So I know they all say this but I really did not expect it to blow up like this. I've posted two am I overreacting subreddits before because I know of my tendency to be emotional. It usually comes out to two or three comments saying not a big deal. I was honestly expecting to get some sort of reassurance that he did make an honest mistake and I could let it out of my mind. Maybe that sounds a bit silly to you all but I'm severely doubting myself due to pee pee hormones and I'm prone to doubt all my feelings. I wanted thoughts of people in their right mind.

[00:25:20] [SPEAKER_00] When I instantly got that many comments telling me divorce, I called up several friends and my sister. I'm not trusting Reddit to make the decision so no worries to those who warned against that. While obviously they were less quick to jump to leave him, everybody I asked agreed his behavior was very inappropriate and something had to be done here. When he came home last night, we had a real face-to-face conversation and he elaborated further. I asked to see the list.

[00:25:46] [SPEAKER_00] He admitted there wasn't a list but his friend had asked if he was planning on being with Crush. I asked why friend hadn't known we were together. He said that friend didn't know we were in a close relationship. He couldn't explain why. I asked more about things but it was mostly expressing how hurt I felt. He seemed to understand it and he started to feel bad for it. He knew immediately he'd be taking care of the baby tonight so I could get a good night's sleep. I was too stressed for it really but appreciated the gesture.

[00:26:15] [SPEAKER_00] I've explained to him that I'm deeply uncomfortable with him being with others and will never be open to it. He says that's okay. I told him that I want to look through his phone and he let me. He had very sparse messages with both Crush and friend. Unsure if they just don't text much or if he deleted things. There's no way to know so I left that fact a B. I also told him I wanted him to get therapy which he easily agreed to. I know it's not what most of you wanted but I'm not jumping straight to divorce.

[00:26:44] [SPEAKER_00] Our face-to-face interaction went better than the text one and I really believe he can change. I want baby to have her father. Answering some questions that came up repeatedly quickly. Why did this happen over text? I don't know. He says he's more comfortable when he has time to gather his thoughts. I prefer it to be face-to-face and told him as much. But you said you're accepting of polyamory. Yes, like how I'm accepting of gay marriage. It doesn't mean I'm gay or want a gay marriage for myself.

[00:27:13] [SPEAKER_00] I just support other people's right to it. I thought this may have been how he got the idea I'd be okay with this. Why did you marry him? Answer much more insulting variations. This wasn't his first date icebreaker. He's been a kind person I connect to a lot. I had no way of predicting this and you can't determine that he has no positive traits I may have fallen for off of this one exchange. Have you ever been poly? No. Is he good with baby?

[00:27:40] [SPEAKER_00] Yes, he does great with baby and that has never been a concern. He loves her dearly. Lied out of habit. He grew up in an abusive environment. I did too and it's part of why I connected with him deeply and had to lie for survival. It's a habit he's struggling to break but he's never doubled down this many times before. Thank you all very much for the support and helping me see that this is something that definitely needed to be addressed. Sorry to any stress I may have caused anybody. TLDR, we are trying to work it out.

[00:28:10] [SPEAKER_00] Relationship will not be opening. He's getting therapy. ETA, all of you calling me horrible names for ever falling in love with him or for not immediately choosing divorce are just making the prospect of leaving more terrifying. If you actually cared about him doing something hurtful, you wouldn't be going out of your way to hurt me more. It's very hard to drop seven years of shared history and good moments together. I'm doing what I hope is best for my family. I'm not delusional, stupid, a slur or any number of worse things.

[00:28:38] [SPEAKER_00] I'm taking time to understand the situation properly and see what can be done rather than instantly writing divorce papers. Commodore says to OP, assuming he takes therapy seriously. Once he's had several months of individual therapy and you are not one month out of having a his baby, you should go to couples counseling as well. OP says this is the goal. Individual therapy because I want him to get help working through the unresolved trauma that I believe is acting as a huge communication barrier for us.

[00:29:08] [SPEAKER_00] And Marissa says because of your PP hormones, physical healing struggles and feelings as a human, please get off this thread and stop reading the mean comments. You don't need to spiral further. You got your answer the way you felt fit. Hope all goes well for you and your girl. OP says thank you. Needed to hear this. I think I'll be deleting the app until everything is better or something of note happens. I'm stuck in bed so I find myself drifting back to it when I get antsy.

[00:29:34] [SPEAKER_00] Now, I get why some people might have been like frustrated whilst reading that, but some of the comments calling a, you know, slurs, stupid, doormat, whatever it was, are just absolutely way off there. That's crazy. One month postpartum, physically wrecked, emotionally vulnerable and dealing with a partner who admits he lies out of habit. You know, that's not a situation where everything is going to be clear cut or easy to walk away from overnight.

[00:30:01] [SPEAKER_00] I certainly get why people would say that, but it's never that easy, is it? At least in a very small part of their life, but I imagine she's looking at the whole seven years of history, not this one conversation. But yeah, what do you guys make of this situation? Let us know your thoughts down in the comments below. Just a huge thank you for being here today, getting involved in the stories. You'll love your support, your time. It always means the absolute world to me. So thank you so, so much for being here. Truly, it's absolutely amazing.

[00:30:31] [SPEAKER_00] And hopefully I'm going to see you in the next one. Take care and much love.
