[00:00:03] [SPEAKER_00] Hey Waffle Gang, I do hope you are well. My name is Mark and today we're checking out some more Reddit stories. And if you do love a Reddit story, why not consider that like, subscribe, maybe that notification bell too. And let's crack on with today's first story. Much love guys.

[00:00:20] [SPEAKER_00] Now today we're going to be looking at the Oh No Consequences subreddit, which has stories about people who are genuinely shocked for the consequences of basically their own actions. And the first story asked, am I the asshole for ditching my wife at the mall because she was taking too long? And it was by striking still 3721. And it starts, I'm a 34 year old male and my wife is 29. We've been married for five years. Since we started dating, she has always taken care of.

[00:00:50] [SPEAKER_00] She's taken a sweet time doing everything. Getting dressed, doing her makeup, eating, whatever it is, she takes forever. I'm generally a patient person, but I get extremely anxious when I'm late for something with a scheduled starting time. Alone, I've never been late for anything. With her in tow, I'm late for everything. The most frustrating thing about this is that she seemingly has no ability to comprehend that she's making people wait. If I even suggest she move a little faster, she gets

[00:01:20] [SPEAKER_00] really defensive. A few years ago, one of her best friends dumped her because she was tired of her chronic lateness. Last night, we went out to see a movie. Getting to the mall before the movie started was a battle itself. But miraculously, with the prospect of doing some shopping before it, she was able to gather her necessary belongings and get there with time to spare. She started shopping while I more or less followed her until it was about time to get to the theater.

[00:01:46] [SPEAKER_00] When I told her this, she was talking to a sales clerk about the clothes that she wanted to buy. And she told me to hang on for a second. As usual, hang on meant I have absolutely no concern about your needs because I'm doing my own thing right now and anything other than what I want to do is out of the question. I waited around for a couple more minutes until she started taking jeans off of the shelves to try on new combinations. The previews had already started.

[00:02:13] [SPEAKER_00] I told her again and she said, we can just skip the previews. At this point, I just walked away, which she naturally didn't notice, turned off my phone and enjoyed the movie myself. As a side note, I missed the first few minutes of it waiting for her, standing in line and making my way to the theater. On my way out of the theater, I saw her on a bench in the lobby beside herself because I ditched her. I honestly didn't feel bad at all and told her that I'd do it again.

[00:02:41] [SPEAKER_00] This made her more upset and finally we had an awkward, quiet drive home. Apparently, she was actually looking forward to the movie too. Was I the arsehole in this situation? I felt it was supposed to be tough love, but she seems really hurt. OVC's Mango says to DOP, not the arsehole. This is what you have to do moving forward. Tell her that you're leaving in 15 minutes and follow through. One warning, then go. Stop discussing and explaining.

[00:03:11] [SPEAKER_00] Start showing. Though in the future, send a text. I'm at the movie and I'm sitting center right. Turning phone off now. Redditor says, not the arsehole. Initially, I was sympathetic to your wife as someone who is also chronically late. However, when you described that her response to you informing her the previews are starting was to go try on more jeans, I lost all sympathy. That's not chronic lateness. That's chronic disrespect for other people's time. Murder Bunny says not the arsehole.

[00:03:40] [SPEAKER_00] You told her at least twice it was time to leave and go to the movie. Her response was, you can miss some of the movie because she's busy. She easily could have bought a ticket when she was done and come and found you in the theater. She didn't. She 100% knows it's an issue if you constantly bring it up and she's lost friends over it. She just doesn't care. Someone says info. Why couldn't she buy her own movie ticket when she finally realized that you had gone ahead to the movies?

[00:04:08] [SPEAKER_00] Opie said because she wanted to make a show out of waiting in the lobby after being ditched. Another commenter says not the arsehole. If she wanted to see the movie, you gave her ample warnings to get her going. And I'm assuming you didn't leave her penniless since she was still shopping. Could she have not just bought herself a ticket? I lost my patience at this point too. Good grief. We're in a similar boat. I also do big stress about being on time. And my husband often makes us a bit late to things too.

[00:04:36] [SPEAKER_00] But at least he's apologetic about it and recognizes it's a problem that he's working on. Your wife seems incredibly disrespectful of your time and anxieties. Have you had a serious talk about that? And the super lateness, especially in this situation, is incredibly, like the commenter says, disrespectful. And I'd be fed up of that pretty quickly as well. But Opie updated the post two months later and said, I'm divorcing my wife because she has been late for 90% of everything we've ever done together.

[00:05:06] [SPEAKER_00] Everyone we know is shocked and confused, but I don't care. No, I'm not having an affair. No, I'm not having a midlife crisis. No, I'm not looking for a younger woman. No, I'm not hiding anything. My wife and I have been together for 12 years. During this time, she has not even made the slightest amount of effort to be on time for anything we did. When we were dating, average wait times were 15 minutes to an hour for her to finally fucking show up. I waited because I loved her.

[00:05:35] [SPEAKER_00] After marriage, she somehow got worse. And after childbirth, she got even worse. She used to blame circumstances for being late every time. But now she just blames our son. I put up with it because I loved her. Example 1 We're currently looking at preschools. We are 15 to 30 minutes late for each meeting because the thing we need most in our lives is for the teachers to believe our son is chronically going to be late for school. It's always something with her. Example 2 I wanted to see a movie in theaters a while ago.

[00:06:04] [SPEAKER_00] She wanted to come too. I had to leave her in a clothing shop because I was going to miss the start of the movie. Of course, she was livid. Example 3 A few months ago, we went to see a concert of a group she likes. We were an hour early because, of course, we were an hour early. It's something that she wanted to do. I'm sick and tired of it. Dinner reservations are always a toss-up because restaurants in our area have no chill and will cancel your reservation if you're a minute late.

[00:06:33] [SPEAKER_00] Growing increasingly anxious as she stares at her fucking phone and trying to ask her in the nicest way possible to hurry up is a horrible feeling. Especially since she will flip her lid the second that I try and tell her we're going to be late. Meeting up with friends, going to a children's event with our son. For fuck's sake, even trying to take a walk is always an ordeal. Of trying to get her to put her goddamn phone down and get ready so I don't have to stand there like an idiot. I think my boiling point was last week when I stood at the entrance of our house for 20 minutes with our son

[00:07:02] [SPEAKER_00] as he grew increasingly impatient. Then seeing she had abruptly decided to start vacuuming the house. I'm getting spammed with calls from mutual friends and family. She went and told everyone that we're getting divorced. Everyone wants to talk me out of it. I just broke after years of patience. I have no regrets. West Coast says to this one, My older sister is slash was chronically late to everything. Hour and a half late to family dinners. Picking her up, you'd be waiting 40 minutes in your car.

[00:07:32] [SPEAKER_00] Events she invited you to? You'll arrive an hour late. I can't tell you how hard I laughed when she got a tattoo on her forearm that said, Patience. Glick says, I have an ex-friend who does this exact thing. One of the times I confronted her, she explained, When meeting people, someone is always going to be waiting on the other person. I'd rather be the late person than the person wasting time waiting.

[00:07:57] [SPEAKER_00] This made it very clear that it was entirely a feeling of superiority and disrespect for other people's time. Bye. But now, I'm going to turn this one straight to you guys. What do you guys make of this situation? And let's move on to another story. Now, our next post originally came from the Am I the Ex, but it was cross-posted and recovered on all no consequences. The title was called, I completely ruined my marriage.

[00:08:26] [SPEAKER_00] I was spying on my wife. It starts off, I, 36 male, know I ruined my marriage. I pushed my 37 female wife too far and she finally broke. We've had a rough 10 years of marriage that basically always been a rollercoaster ride of something I did wrong. I will take the blame of not being the best person and not treating her and her daughter as good as I should have. There was never any physical abuse, but my wife says it was a lot of verbal and emotional abuse from me.

[00:08:56] [SPEAKER_00] I'm not going to try and paint a horrible picture of her. She did stuff wrong too, but I'm talking about my mistakes, not hers. I do look back at some of the stuff I did in the distant past and recent past and wonder what the fuck was I thinking. Basically though, the deciding factor for her to leave was the actions of this past year. She emotionally checked out from my treatment of her and started talking to another man. I begged and pleaded with her that I would change,

[00:09:24] [SPEAKER_00] so she decided to stay and give it another try. Three months later, I didn't change enough or was back to my old ways, so she was talking to the other guy again. Yet again, I begged and she decided to stay again. During the time that she was talking to the other man, I'd put a tracker on her vehicle to see if she was going to his house. I not only did this once, but twice. She found out about the first tracker when I confronted her with the printed map of where she had gone,

[00:09:54] [SPEAKER_00] the second tracker she found out about on her own. But wait, there's more. When she decided to stay the second time, she turned her phone location back on for me, but that wasn't enough. I decided to put a camera in the bedroom to check to see if she was really at home while I was working night shifts. I swear on everything that there was nothing sexual about this and the camera did not record anything. All of this was so incredibly wrong, and I know it,

[00:10:21] [SPEAKER_00] and I was just always spiraling out of control. She found out about the camera December 3rd. By December 5th, she'd filed for a protection order. Temporary order was denied, but she told me she didn't want me in the house. I left so I could let her cool down, thinking we'd be able to get through this. December 11th, she filed for divorce and hasn't let me back to the house other than to get clothes and whatnot since. I don't know what to do. I know I destroyed her trust, and she literally hates me.

[00:10:51] [SPEAKER_00] But at the same time, the time I've talked to her, I can tell she still loves me. Is this just one of those love you but I can't be with you anymore situations? Also, I basically have nowhere to live now. She's going to do anything to keep me out of our house and have no friends or family I can stay with. The only option of a place to stay is my mother, which my mother was one of the issues of my marriage. My therapist even said my mother sounds toxic, and being a reason for fights in marriage, that he suggests that I don't stay there.

[00:11:21] [SPEAKER_00] Any women here feel free to comment. Is there any way you'll be able to come back from that and fix the marriage? The top comment on this one said, it's always jaw-dropping to me when someone writes a post to paint themselves in the best light possible and still end up looking like Satan incarnate. So, in the comments below all this as well, apparently, a reply from the wife was recovered. As always,

[00:11:50] [SPEAKER_00] I can't confirm who it actually came from, but it's saying it's the wife. It says, I've got an update for everyone. This is the wife. Hello everyone. I've read the post in your comments and thought I'd fill in the holes. First, I will say, I do not condone having an emotional affair or kissing another man while married. Sorry to disappoint any of you, but no, me and the other man never had sex or have even seen each other naked. So, there's that point. Opie and I got married in 2017.

[00:12:19] [SPEAKER_00] My daughter from my first marriage was four when we started dating. I was in the military, so fit body and good job. I decided to get out of the military, move back around my family to give my daughter roots and a good place to grow up, around her grandparents, etc. Fast forward to getting married to Opie. When I got out of the military, I gained a significant amount of weight and was also going to nursing school full time. I was body shamed by Opie the whole time I was overweight and told one reason

[00:12:48] [SPEAKER_00] he didn't want children with me was due to my size. This is emotional and mental abuse. I have lost all the weight and then some and still struggle with body dysmorphia due to the abuse. I also would beg him to do counseling and he would refuse, so I did do counseling on my own for a while. He also was messaging a married woman at a point in our marriage and the woman was sending him naked pictures and they were discussing his dick size. No, I still didn't leave.

[00:13:17] [SPEAKER_00] I had a significant surgery and he left on a guy's trip two days later leaving my 11 year old daughter at the time to care for me when I needed something. Fast forward to this past four. He was supposed to go on another guy's trip and the other guy ended up not being able to go. I did tell him since he would be on his bike alone. I didn't really want him to go but he did for eight days. That's when I checked out. From about 2018 until now, I suffered a significant amount of emotional and mental abuse from this man

[00:13:47] [SPEAKER_00] and yes, I should have left and didn't. I did not start talking to another man for two months after I'd emotionally checked out of my marriage. I just wanted everyone to have all the facts. You can judge me all you want or say I should have left before I cheated and I can honestly agree with that as well. I begged this man to change so many times over the years and until he thought he would lose me to another man, nothing ever changed or honestly would have changed. But in the comments, people continued, Butterfly Eyes says,

[00:14:17] [SPEAKER_00] oh gosh, this dude is insane and this is him painting himself in the best light possible. He admits he ruined things. He admits he was awful throughout the marriage. Then he's so surprised that she ended it after giving him chances. Abusers think you won't leave. He tries to make her sound just as bad. You won't list out the bad things she's done. Sure, okay dude. He's upset that she's talking to a man but do we even know she was being inappropriate? A lot of abusers project that their partner is cheating

[00:14:46] [SPEAKER_00] when they're actually the cheater. If he was actually sorry or actually cared for her, he'd leave her alone but now he wants to save things. Dude, she's not taking you back. She enjoys her peace too much and wishing his ex all the good things in life after being with this whirlwind of a crazy dude. Absolutely, he sounds absolutely batshit but what do you guys make

[00:15:27] [SPEAKER_00] divorce after nine months of marriage but people in my surroundings seem to find this odd and immature. But there was an alternative title for this for the best of redditor update slash oh no consequences which was titled OP decides to divorce her husband over emotional affair. OP's soon to be ex makes a post denying any responsibility. So, there's a bit of back and forth that happens within this story. Let's get started and see what happens.

[00:15:55] [SPEAKER_00] I don't know if ages are required or relevant here but I'm 29 husband is 29 his colleague is 36 her husband is 34. My husband and I have been together for four years. I love him very much even now that I want a divorce. I still love him. I found out about three months ago about his colleague when I visited his office and she was there. Apparently, they had been working together for five years and they are very good friends and yet I have never heard about her

[00:16:25] [SPEAKER_00] until I saw her. Something didn't feel right at all. Now, I was paying more attention to his texting habits and yes, he does text her almost every evening and a few times a day and weekends or when he's working from home or on vacation. I asked him why I never heard about this good friend of his and he said we rarely talked about work since I never understood his field. I hate playing games so I told him it was still odd that I've never heard about someone who he is on daily contact with.

[00:16:55] [SPEAKER_00] He gave me his phone and said they haven't been on daily contact constantly but it came in waves when she's having troubles at home. I read their conversations and it's a lot of joking around. Calling each other cute names, complaining about her sex life jokingly. Her asking intimate questions about me. Her asking if I threw a good birthday party to him. His birthday was on June 14th. This text stuck with me because he was texting her at the party and she answered you must be bored at your own party

[00:17:24] [SPEAKER_00] or you wouldn't be texting me instead of being with her. Me. I told him that I didn't find this back and forth texting appropriate and I considered it flirting. He was taken aback but said he would stop if it bothered me so much. A month later it has started gradually again and I showed him that I wasn't happy about it. This time he came home with her to let her reassure me that nothing is happening between them. She was very ironic and disrespectful according to me.

[00:17:54] [SPEAKER_00] That's her sense of humor according to him. She was smirking and basically telling me that if I had low self-esteem and felt threatened by their friendship it wasn't her fault. When she left I told my husband that I never wanted to see or hear anything from or about her anymore and that if he would rather have her as a friend than me as a wife then he should say so. They stopped texting. We had a three weeks vacation and we spent it in Santorini she probably texted two to three times a day.

[00:18:24] [SPEAKER_00] He answered her at the end of the day when I was in the shower or something. When I asked him why he said she had marriage problems I asked him if he was a marriage counselor on top of his career and he just laughed it off. When we came back home from Santorini we still had one week of vacation left. We went for a dinner and a movie. She probably knew because she was at the same restaurant later. We exchanged hellos and she asked if we wanted to join them. I said yes. She was very

[00:18:53] [SPEAKER_00] pleasant and asked about her vacation touching my husband in a friendly way. I didn't know how I asked it was with them because I've heard from my husband that they were having marriage problems. All three froze. The husband asked what? Who said that? And I answered that it was my husband who told me. My husband tried to explain with some dumb excuses and I said but you showed me the text she sent every day about her having problems but that I was sorry if I got the wrong idea. She looked very angry at my husband.

[00:19:24] [SPEAKER_00] When we got home he told me that I was out of line. I had enough by then. I asked him if they slept together and he said only once before he even met me. I told him that I wanted a divorce because I'm thinking they're having an affair. At least an emotional one. He denied it and called me silly wanting a divorce over texts with a friend. Now I've been thinking about it for two weeks and I'm adamant about my decision. I want a divorce. We're not fighting but I asked him to

[00:19:53] [SPEAKER_00] move to the living room and I've refused intimacy and any type of physical connection. I spend more time out of the apartment. Work, work out and long walks. I spend a lot of time in a library or the movies alone and when I come home I've already eaten dinner. I just take a shower and go to bed. I've spoken to my mother about everything I've written here. She thinks I'm making a big fuss about nothing and my in-laws have heard about me asking for a divorce from my husband and they also think I'm making a big fuss.

[00:20:23] [SPEAKER_00] I haven't told anyone else yet because I'm not prepared to hear how immature and rushed my decision is. He has tried to talk about compromise, stop being her friend, marriage counseling and even find another job or move to another city but my guts are telling me something is very off and that marriage shouldn't be this hard, especially this early. So as always there were some comments with Opie replying first. The first one said I'll be feeling the exact same way. Trust has been lost, respect

[00:20:52] [SPEAKER_00] for you has been lost and the fact that he brought her to your home so you could meet her. I'm glad you got those comments in with her husband. Good luck to your future. I'm positive you'll be much better off and I'm sending you good vibes. Opie replied saying I thought that too. he's known her for five years and me four years and yet I never heard of her until three months ago. Someone so close to him that she could openly discuss her sex life with. No. Then another commenter says I'm confused why they were upset when you brought up

[00:21:22] [SPEAKER_00] marriage problems. Did she expect him not to share things with his wife? I don't know. The voice seems rushed if you still love him. Opie replies she probably didn't know he told me or that she wasn't hooked dumbfounded. The commenter says damn girl that's a queen move with the restaurant scene. You got them like deers in headlights. In my opinion you're doing the most mature thing a scorned wife could ever do and outing them

[00:21:52] [SPEAKER_00] in front of her husband was a good move. Maybe it wasn't intentional on your part but still that's the best way to do it. It's never too early for divorce. You had a gut feel and it turned out right. Your mum and in-laws were just speaking as mums would but I'm rooting for you Opie. You deserve a good ma. Opie says I was provoked by the touching like they were on a date and Em and her were chaperones or something. Someone else says this woman is after your husband and he's obviously not opposed to it. You're completely

[00:22:22] [SPEAKER_00] right. Opie says this was what I told him in one of our last talks that she's after him and he's at worst reciprocating her feelings and at best just enjoying the attention. Even then best is far from what I'm comfortable with. He said he is neither. I told him that he should stop lying to himself because I'm not buying it. At least have the decency to be truthful to yourself. Another commenter says why don't you let him just cut contact with her if he offered and save your marriage. If that friendship is the only thing

[00:22:52] [SPEAKER_00] that's affecting your marriage, if he gets rid of her, there would be no problem. Isn't marriage supposed to be until death? Are problems do you apart? Opie says he had four years to cut contact on his own and three months with me asking him. Someone says, is there anything he can do at this point to repair the relationship? Opie says he's denying everything. Maybe if he took responsibility for some of his questionable actions, but no, he's playing 100% innocent. He's having an affair at worst or enjoying their flirting at best.

[00:23:22] [SPEAKER_00] He doesn't want to admit even that. Someone says, is he still trying to backpedal and get you back even now? Opie responds saying he is, and he isn't giving me anything to work with. Deny, deny, deny. At least admit to someone small like you're enjoying the attention, but no. He's so innocent. And I've asked him about when he slept with her. She's been married for 12 years. So if it truly was just one time, I don't buy it, he basically slept with a married woman.

[00:23:52] [SPEAKER_00] I thought he had better morals. Someone else says, I might have missed it, but did you say how your husband responded when she made a joke about him being bored at his party? I really don't think you're being rash or making a big fuss because your husband has been so disrespectful towards you in your marriage by letting this woman take jabs at you and not telling you from the beginning about this friendship and their past relationship. Hope you're doing okay and I'm sorry you're going through this. Opie says every time she would make a joke where I'm the

[00:24:21] [SPEAKER_00] bottom of it, he just doesn't answer. It wasn't just about the party, it happened multiple times, but the party stuck with me because I spent hours in the kitchen making delicious tapas for 25 people and I thought he was happy because he's a foodie. So this part of the story is where the soon to be ex actually comes into it. People were saying in the comments that he was looking for sympathy but he finds none. He started off by saying my wife is leaving because she thinks

[00:24:51] [SPEAKER_00] I'm unfaithful with my married co-worker. I'm not. She wrote a post here that went viral and now she got all the reassurance she needed to believe that she's doing the right thing. She's the kindest, gentlest, funniest and most beautiful girl I've ever met and I'm all hers. I love her and I've never loved anyone like her. I'm hers, mind, body, heart and soul. Everyone who knows us is shocked. Everyone who's seen us together and been around us is saying that she's lost her marbles. Yet she trusted

[00:25:20] [SPEAKER_00] internet strangers to tell her I'm bad news. So at this point people were talking to him. The first one said, He replied saying that was so stupid and I apologized. Being stupid and being a cheater are not the same.

[00:25:50] [SPEAKER_00] Someone replied saying, honestly man, if you're not actually physically cheating, you're 100% emotionally cheating. He replied saying, what does emotionally cheating mean? I have no feelings for my co-worker, not even before I met my wife. She didn't tell me she was married and we had sex on my first day at work. I was 24. Someone quoted what the soon to be extra said saying no feelings for my co-worker, we had sex on my first day at work and then says pick one. Sounds like you felt something, even if it was just little you

[00:26:20] [SPEAKER_00] calling the shots. He replied saying, I was explaining why I did a married woman. I didn't know she was married. You can do people without having any feelings towards them. Then a user Burnt Toast comes in and says, did you make this post to try and change your wife's mind? He replied, yes. Then Burnt Toast continues, quoting, I love her and I've never loved anyone like her and then says, but you didn't love her enough to respect her boundaries that you not text your co-worker anymore. She said, you offered to move

[00:26:50] [SPEAKER_00] jobs and even move cities. You're only offering that because she said she is leaving you. Why is it men only understand women when the consequences of their behavior come back around and smack them in the face? You've made your bed now. You know what you must do. He replied saying, I wasn't thinking in terms of boundaries and I'm sorry for that. I just know my own feelings and I thought my wife had no reasons to doubt my love or worry about anyone else. She's all I think of. I thought she knew this. Someone then says, quoting,

[00:27:20] [SPEAKER_00] I then asked how it was with them because I've heard from my husband that they were having marriage problems. All three froze. My husband asked, what? Who said that? And I answered that it was my husband who told me. Then says, hey OP, what was this all about? The soon to be ex replies, I was surprised that my wife would discuss someone else's private business the first time she met them. That's not her. Someone says, have you stopped talking to the woman to start? And have you told her husband the truth? I believe your

[00:27:49] [SPEAKER_00] wife told you to do so. He said, yes, and started looking for new jobs. I've been going to interviews and I'm going on a few more next week. I haven't told the husband no. I thought his wife should be the one telling him. Out of respect, they also have small children. The commenter says, your wife asked you to tell the husband but you're too much of a coward to do it. Have you even told your co-worker to tell her husband she cheated on him or you will? Soon to be X says, not a coward, have respect for him. His wife

[00:28:19] [SPEAKER_00] should be the one telling him. Someone says you're a homewrecker and an emotional cheater and a gaslighting asshole to boot. It isn't from stupidity, it's from your ongoing choices. Stupidity was at first happening. Choice was when you allowed it to keep going, knowing how your wife felt. You dug your grave, now lie in it. Another commenter says you don't even realize how much of an emotional affair you had. It doesn't have to be physical. You snuck around texting this woman and hanging out with her. And your wife asked you to

[00:28:49] [SPEAKER_00] stop. It's about boundaries. Your co-worker clearly wanted you. You should never need to talk to another woman 24-7. That woman was just as wrong and clearly was lying to you about her married life to keep talking to you. Which you found out when her husband responded to your wife. If you had no feelings, you would have respected your wife and cut this woman off. But you couldn't stop and snuck around. That's emotional affair. And they shared a link saying is your friendship becoming an emotional affair?

[00:29:19] [SPEAKER_00] Soon to be ex replies saying this is not true. I never spent any time with her outside of work and yet I could have answered a few texts from her. Not on daily basis and never behind my wife's back. I just felt awkward ignoring all texts. And someone says is it possible that this co-worker has strong feelings for you? That would explain your co-worker's behavior as well for ex's suspicion of you cheating. He said maybe or maybe she just wants an affair because she's not satisfied with her sex life. So this is

[00:29:49] [SPEAKER_00] where things switched back to the original OP, the wife. And this all happened after the soon to be ex posted. So someone said the original poster, the wife, I know you're not changing your mind, but what has he done so far to rectify the situation? Has he cut her off or not? Is he telling her about all his problems with you since apparently they bonded over that? Has he told her husband that she cheated on him with your husband? OP says he's not doing anything to rectify the situation. He's just denying any

[00:30:19] [SPEAKER_00] wrongdoings. Not even acknowledging that he was enjoying her friendship and slash all the attention he's getting from her. That's not the way to solve problems. You'll at least confess to a lesser charge to be credible. He's panicking and begging and it's hard to experience because I'm not heartless and I love him and I hate seeing him in pain. Someone said, is he still trying to win you back? OP says yes. He's panicking and very distraught. I feel sorry but I can't help him. You must understand that this is over

[00:30:49] [SPEAKER_00] and the best way to do it is to be firm. Someone says, you don't think him leaving the job and blocking her with some counseling is worth trying? OP says, I don't want this type of relationship to be honest. I don't want to be the one telling him this is wrong. I don't want someone who doesn't take my feelings seriously until it's too late either. It's the most difficult decision I've ever taken and it hurts so much because I miss him but sometimes we need to take difficult decisions. And one more commenter says to OP,

[00:31:18] [SPEAKER_00] she's set her boundaries multiple times and he still violated it and even gaslit her. That's enough. And OP replies saying, I don't want to have a husband who can't see how wrong keeping a friendship with someone he's had a history with from his girlfriend slash wife for years is. And I don't want to have a husband who doesn't do right until everything is lost. An absolute wild ass behavior from him. The wife in this was making her boundaries clear all the way through this

[00:31:48] [SPEAKER_00] and kept telling him that she wasn't happy about it but that he just kept ignoring it and going ahead with it. But when it got to that restaurant scene, bloody hell, that was a bit dramatic, wasn't it? But what do you guys make of this situation? Let us know your thoughts down in the comments below. Now just a huge thank you for being here today, getting involved in the stories, your love, your support, your time. It always means the absolute world to me. So thank you so so much for being here and hopefully I'll see you in the next one. Take care

[00:32:18] [SPEAKER_00] and much love.
